Arte e psiche tra Previati e Boccioni in Ferrara
Exhibition dates - 3 March - 10 June 2018
The exhibition scheduled for Spring 2018 at Palazzo dei Diamanti in Ferrara explores innovative and utopian trends that, in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, brought the emotional vibrations and the phantoms that stir modern consciousness into the work of art, bringing into play the sensibility of the observer.
Some of the most original interpreters of the Italian art scene among divisionism, symbolism and futurism are protagonists with their masterpieces, such as Giovanni Segantini, Gaetano Previati, Giuseppe Pellizza from Volpedo, Angelo Morbelli, Medardo Rosso, Giacomo Balla, Giorgio de Chirico, Umberto Boccioni and Carlo Carrà.
The exhibition that will open its doors at the Palazzo dei Diamanti next March 3rd aims at giving a new look on the Italian art of the late nineteenth century. Masterpieces such as Ave Maria by Giovanni Segantini, the Maternity of Gaetano Previati, the triptych of the states of mind by Umberto Boccioni, and other important outcomes of Italian and international art between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, will lead visitors on a journey on the spirit.
